Ok the top 5 are a definite yes, but do you agree with the rest of these?
- American Football - starting in 1869 by the National College league.
- Baseball - A sport that nobody knows how to play, unless you already know how to play it.
- Basketball - Without a doubt this sport should be at this position, if not higher.
- Hockey - It is difficult to get bored watching this, and the Americans love it for that.
- Golf – You can thank Tiger Woods for making this one so popular.
- Wrestling - Well it gets massive views every weekend, loved by Americans.
- Tennis - Not really an American Past Time, but definitely a well respected sport.
- Skateboarding - America helped this sport to reach glory, then it quickly grew.
- Surfing - Yeah man, this was were surfing really took off.
- Ice Skating - Although you may not have really thought about it, it is quite a big one.
- Boxing - will never be as popular as baseball, but when the big fights happen, there are not enough TVs for viewers.
- Soccer - Slowly getting more and more money and players pumped into it.
- Archery - you cannot deny this a position in the table, in the Olympics the Americans rule.
- Volleyball - Now I am not entirely sure who invented Women's Volleyball but i would like to shake their hand.
- Cycling - A very tough sport, especially in competition with nations, but America sticks to its usual greatness.
- Track and Field - Up until recently the Americans have completely dominated Track and Field events at the Olympics.
- Horse Racing - may not ever be as big as some, but will be around for, well probably ever.
- Rock Climbing - A sport for all to enjoy, indoors or outdoors, much fun to be had, and in great American scenery.
- Extreme Sports - This is where any sport that has a one hundred percent risk of injury is involved.
- Auto Racing - I know this is at the bottom, but there is room for maneuverability, it has too many aspects.
