Interesting way of selling a religious viewpoint with rewards for people who purchase 10 books or more to help spread the word. This is a missionaries christian guide not a golfing guide.

Life is NOT a game. There are things way more important than golf, like my relationship with God through Christ. And the opportunity to use this great game and this great book to share my faith in Christ. As I often say on the course, “I love this game!” and I love Jesus more than ever.

This is a great book for golf… and for life. Golfers will like the principles relating to playing really good golf. However, the spiritual component is critical for a good life. I suspect that it’s how many of the good golfers keep their perspective on the course. And the golf principles are probably used by many on the PGA tour to help keep their focus while keeping it “simple.” Let’s face it, golf is a great game but it is still a game. And so few golf-lovers can play it for a living so they are blessed. But we are all blessed if we can develop the focus to see our blessings, similar to the focus needed to play really good golf. And ALL golfers want to play really good golf!! Why not use this book for a really good life!?!?

I thought there were some very interesting points to be taken from this book regarding the mental game.

That said, I didn’t enjoy some of the tangents throughout the book. Do I really want to read about the character painting a picture? I understand that the author is trying to make the point that player needs to be an artist. But 5-10 pages about a painting goes a hair overboard.

I’m sure I am missing the whole point of the book, that it’s not supposed to be all about golf, but to me it is all about golf. Oh well.

I give it a 3 for the pure fact that the golf portion of the book did have me quite intrigued and I actually enjoyed it.

This is a truly inspirational book, which focuses far more on life lessons than golf lessons. This is a a great read… whether you are a golfer or not.
