I bought the Upro in hopes that it might help my golf game. However, right out of the box my two computers would not recognize the Upro device. I returned the unit to Amazon without any hassles from them. However, I spoke to a salesman at a major golf retail store. The salesman told me that they have had to return abot 6 to 7 Upros because of different faults listed throughout these reviews. Went back to the golf retail chain and bought a Garmin Approach and I love it. Yes its $500.00, but no monthly fee and pretty easy to use update downloads. I know some people complain about the amount of courses, but give it a chance.

These are cool toys, but why would you pay for free information. If you buy this brand, you will be paying to download a course. Golf Guru (basic) is still free–I’m sending this one back.

Had another brand before this. Haveing a GPS that holds lots of coarse is a big plus. I play lots of coarse’s with blind shot. The fly over is a great option.

Had to call there help line for I have a Mac. The spoke English very clear and were super to help me out. They have there act together.

WE do no tespecially like the fly over. It takes too long and you reeally do not need it… but the rest is fine although today it just stopped working in the middle of the game at Medinah

I got one for Fathers’ Day and it is about as useful as a brick. First, it came with two headphones and no USB cable. The serial number won’t register on the website, the manufacturer’s support line gave me a runaround about how I need to exchange it where it was purchased because the serial number “won’t go into their database”. At the place it was purchased, they tell me they’ve had several that are having the same problem, and it will be “weeks” before I get a replacement. If that exceeds their “30 day” satifaction guarantee, then what? I’m definitely not at all satisfied – a lot of money for a garbage product, and poor customer service. I’d give it zero stars, but Amazon forces you to give at least 1.
